On the way home from Paul’s graduation lunch, we were listening to the Modern Lovers in the car. My mother almost immediately was like “Who is this? I know this Voice”. When I told her what we were listening to, she told us this story about how Johnathan Richmond and my father we friends and that on more then one occasion he ate dinner at our house. My brother nor myself remember this at all, but still that’s a pretty great story! Oh yeah she also mentioned that she danced around the living room with him listening to Toots and the Maytals.

So the only good part about my trip back to Rochester tonight was driving through the most intense fog at 2 in the morning listening to Mercyful Fate’s Don’t Break The Oath at full volume. Thank you King Diamond guiding me home safely.
